Amagrama was formed in Buenos Aires, Argentina
at the begining of 1998 by three tenagers between 13 and 15 years old.
 
Juan Amaya, his brother Agustín and their friend Javier Martinez. All of them are students from the same school who were inmediately united by their interested in music.
 
Later Pablo Martín (guitarrist and friend) made
up into the band which end up being called
"KOMODIN / VINCULO". It began to play in
festivals, pubs, birthdays, fashion shows and
other events.
 
In this first stage the repertoire it was formed by covers from nationality and internationality artists.
 
Three years later Pablo decided to look for new projects, there fore left the band and Pedro Di Luca (guitarrist and vocalist) formed part of the new one called "DEJAVU / VIDA y VUELTA".
 
These four guys took part in recitals, competitions and concerts playing their own songs and ballads.
 
After 2 years one of the members decided to leave leaving his space to Alejandro Graziano as a result
a new band named "Chandler" was originated
during this period progressive and symphonic
music marked the style of the band.
 
In 2001 the band recorded the Demo "Todo lo que puedas ser".
 
Alberto Vanasco from The Record Runner Company reached this material and contacts the boys to work together.
 
In 2002-2003 "Ciclotimia" is released, the first band's CD re-named "Amagrama" to leave
definetely their print in the world of progressive music.
 
After this launch Alejandro Graziano gave up the group, giving his place to Juan Cruz Sanabria (guitarrist).
 
After receiving positive reviens from all around
the world, "amagrama" created Volumen I
from the collection "Buenos Aires free experience" under the label Record Runner.
 
In 2006 "Amagrama" took part in RARF Río
de Janeiro (Brazil) invited by Leonardo Nahoum.
 
Nowadays, Juan Cruz, Agustín, Javier and Juan
are composing new material for their
next album.
